Hauyi has performed at World Music Festival and the Taichung Jazz Festival in Taiwan, as well as the Kampung Buntoi Online Festival in Indonesia, alongside various Chinese music festivals. She released her debut original album, Ukulele Fantasy 1 in 2017, and embarked on an international tour, performing in Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Australia (Melbourne), Malaysia, and China's Ukulele Festival. Hauyi’s passion lies in connecting cultures through music and sharing her artistry with audiences around the world. She has developed a diverse and unique musical vocabulary, dedicated to creating innovative experiences that bridge different cultures.

Hauyi performed pipa on this original album by Venezuelan trumpeter Michael Simon, who currently resides in the Netherlands. The album was recorded in Taiwan and features collaborations with talented Asian jazz musicians, aiming to blend Eastern and Western elements to create a unique jazz style.
In this album, Hauyi contributed pipa performance to the third track, “Leave”, by Nico'o & the Kapiolani Boyz, adding an exotic flair to the entire album.
In Hakka, "heu sangˊ tiauˇ eˋ" refers to youths, while "tiau" also means music or melody, highlighting Hakka's linguistic creativity. Hauyi and the Chiu-Mi Killers recorded the sixth track, Stories Under the Bridge, for this award-winning album.
